In this regard, we recommend that you get an <b>eSim<\/b> to be able to take advantage of the data network without having to spend a fortune with your operator.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">By bus<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Also from <b>Quepos<\/b> there is a very comfortable bus that runs every 15 minutes. It costs <b>365 Colones<\/b>, approximately $0.75<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Parking at Manuel Antonio National Park<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The park <b>does not provide official parking<\/b> and as you get closer to your destination you will find numerous parking spaces. However, we recommend that you opt for Manuel Antonio Parking,<b> which costs $10<\/b>. Although it calls itself an official car park, in reality it is not. But it is very close to the entrance and more guarded than others.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Tips for getting to Manuel Antonio<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Along <b>Ruta Nacional Treciaria 618<\/b>, about a kilometer from the park, you may find <b>avid parking attendants<\/b> who will try to convince you that you cannot continue, heartily suggesting that you turn right. In addition to being poorly monitored car parks, <b>they are far from the entrance to the <\/b><span class=\"s1\"><b>Manuel Antonio National Park<\/b><\/span>, so go straight ahead without too many hesitations<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">What will you see at Manuel Antonio National Park?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">As mentioned, <b>Manuel Antonio<\/b> is probably the best park in all of Costa Rica, although a lot depends on the needs and interests of each tourist. The park&#8217;s trails pass through a <b>rich tropical forest to lead to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">What kind of wildlife can you expect in Manuel Antonio?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The fauna is quite rich and there is even an exclusive species of monkey in the park, namely the <b>Squirrel Monkey<\/b>. This tree is present in the park and all the beaches are dotted with its fruits (similar to small apples). <b>We suggest you not touch the plant and not ingest anything<\/b> that comes from it, but obviously we don&#8217;t want to be alarmist. You will surely notice that its fruits are not ingested even by animals, precisely because it is toxic and can cause severe irritation, as well as nausea and diarrhea if ingested. In case of rain it is advisable not to stand underneath it.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">The paths of Manuel Antonio National Park<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">As with any self-respecting park, <b>Manuel Antonio<\/b> also offers a vast choice despite its small size. In the park you can find <b>7 main paths<\/b> that branch into forest areas and marine areas.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">La Catarata Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">This will be the first path you will encounter once you enter the park. The route is about <b>1 km long <\/b>and leads to a very charming small waterfall. Be careful not to raise your voice too much as you walk along it because you may encounter numerous animals.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Perezoso Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <b>Perezoso<\/b> path (as the sloth is called) extends for <b>about 3 km and reaches an altitude of 44 metres<\/b>. Entering the park it branches out into the <b>Punta Catedral<\/b> and <b>Mirador<\/b> paths, which in turn are connected to the <b>Manuel Antonio<\/b> and <b>Espadilla<\/b> beaches. This route is the favorite of raccoons.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Punta Catedral Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Punta Catedral<\/b> is a scenic trail that leads to <b>Playa Espadilla<\/b> and Playa <b>Manuel Antonio<\/b>. Its length is <b>1.5 km<\/b> and offers breathtaking views.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Playa Gemelas Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the name suggests, this route leads to the twin beaches of <span class=\"s1\"><b>Manuel Antonio National Park<\/b><\/span>. This is a very short route, but where you can encounter a vast variety of floral and faunal species.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Mirador Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <b>Mirador<\/b> route is perhaps the most suggestive from a panoramic point of view. Thanks to its length of <b>1.5 km<\/b> you will be able to observe the Pacific Ocean and, with a little attention, some <b>toucans<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Los Congos Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Very short trail that serves as a connection between the Mirador and the Puerto Escondido trail.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Puerto Escondido Path<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Here too <b>the view is breathtaking<\/b>. This path will also train your legs, in fact you will find a few climbs and steps. Once you reach the top, however, you will be rewarded handsomely for your effort<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">The beaches of Manuel Antonio<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">After long walks, <b>a siesta on the beach is what you need<\/b>. Inside the <span class=\"s1\">Manuel Antonio National Park<\/span> you will have a wide choice, in fact via the new pier recently built you can reach <b>Playa Espadilla Su<\/b>r (the northern part is the one outside the park) and enjoy the company of very bizarre <b>iguanas<\/b> and <b>hermit crabs<\/b>. If you head to the edge of the park, you will be able to observe <b>the resting area of \u200b\u200bthe iguanas and an islet on which pelicans often stop waiting for low tide<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">Guided Tours<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">The park offers numerous <b>guided tours<\/b> with official guides. The reserve provides a <b>Coffee Shop<\/b> that is not exactly cheap ($10 dollars for a sandwich), but it will be the only solution to get something to eat. The town of Quepos is much less charming, however it guarantees every type of service such as supermarkets, banks, restaurants, pharmacies and bars. The two areas are neighboring so I advise you <b>to look for accommodation in Manuel Antonio<\/b> and, if necessary, go to Quepos only for the services you need.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">On Ruta Treciaria 618 there are many secluded accommodations, away from the noise of the street.
